Skin Rejuvenation with Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Fractional Laser

Carbon dioxide (CO₂) fractional laser is an effective laser method used to treat skin blemishes, fine wrinkles, acne and scarring, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. The laser beam creates microscopic damage to the skin, stimulating collagen production in both superficial and deep layers and initiating the skin's natural renewal process. It is widely preferred for reducing the appearance of scars resulting from surgery or trauma. It can also be safely applied to both the lower and upper eyelids, providing successful results in reducing fine wrinkles and improving skin laxity in these areas.

It is effective in treating areas such as the face, neck, and décolleté, as well as other body areas such as the abdomen, arms, legs, and backs of the hands, as well as postpartum stretch marks. A local anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. It takes approximately 20–30 minutes, and 2–3 sessions spaced one month apart are generally recommended. Temporary effects such as redness, crusting, and peeling may be observed for a few days after the procedure. Sun protection and meticulous skin care during the healing process will support the results.
